JV Hornets Lose to South
By: Ed Weaver / September 4, 2007
Tuesday marked the first Junior Varsity game for the Hornets. The Hornets got off to a slow start allowing South Williamsport to put up 6 quick points. The Hornets remained sluggish for the rest of the half, as South Williamsport put up 20 points and kept the Hornets scoreless.
However, the Hornets never gave up, as they quickly caused a fumble shortly after South Williamsport had their first possession of the second half. The Hornets were able to muster 2 scores, as Freshman Running Back Jake Clemens found the end zone twice. The team will have their home opener next Monday against Canton.
