Hornets fall to Lewisburg

In what had all the makings of a good old fashioned slugfest, the Wellsboro Hornets fell to the Lewisburg Green Dragons 34-7 in front of the home crowd. The Wellsboro defense came ready to play as the game was held scoreless until late in the second quarter, but turnovers would eventually kill the Hornets.
After the loss, the Hornets will regroup before they face the Wyalusing Rams at home on Friday night.
