Coaching Bio
Coach Reese began coaching in 1989 and teaching in 1991. He retired from teaching at Wellsboro High School in 2017 after nearly 28 years, beginning his career as the District Payroll Supervisor and later for 27 years as a Business Education teacher. He is entering his 32nd year as a football coach and first as the Head Middle School Coach. He continues to live in Wellsboro with his family.
Coach Reese played in the Wellsboro Football program for 7 years, primarily as a running back, wide receiver, linebacker, and defensive back. He also ran track for 4 years at Wellsboro, participating in 11 or 18 events, mainly as a sprinter, jumper, hurdler, and member of all three relays. He holds the Freshman record in the 330-YARD intermediate hurdles.
Coach Reese continued his education at Mansfield University and attained a Business Administration degree, with an emphasis in accounting. While at MU, he was a member of the track team as a long and triple jumper. He later attended Alfred University in the Masters program studying Business Education.
